PK Porthcurno Museum
Discover the museum of global telecommunication that explores the amazing story of our connected world, and how 150 years ago, the first international telegraph cable was brought ashore at Porthcurno, connecting Britain to India and later other parts of the British Empire.
SW Coastal Path
The South West Coast Path is England's longest waymarked long-distance footpath and a National Trail. It stretches for 630 miles, running from Minehead in Somerset, along the coasts of Devon and Cornwall, to Poole Harbour in Dorset.

We don't allow dogs.
We are unable to provide check-out on Saturdays.
During peak season, we have a minimum stay of 7 nights with check-in and check-out on Fridays only. If you would like to book for a longer or shorter period of time, please get in touch as we might be able to accommodate.
All our barns have fridge freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, washing machine, dryer, iron, iron table, BBQ (we sell sustainable instant charcoal coated in natural wax at cost), outdoor seating area, tap and clothes line/airer.
There is a large selection of board games and books in each barn. Guests also have use of the large lawn in front of the barn with its football goal post and swing set. We provide deck chairs, football, volleyball, badminton rackets, beach tennis rackets, a net, buckets and spades and bodyboards.
We also provide the following essentials for your stay:
- bed sheets, bath towels only, soap and loo rolls. We have beach towels for hire if needed.
- tea, coffee, some Nespresso capsules, sugar, local eggs and milk, cooking oil, herbs, salt and pepper, kitchen towel, dishwasher tablets and cleaning products.
- washing powder, softener.
- one large bag of logs with kindlings and fire lighters. If you need more logs, we sell high quality logs at cost.
- highchair(s), travel cot(s) (with sheet(s) but no other bedding) and nappy bin for infants. Please let us know in advance so we can arrange.

Hello!
We are Harriet and Sylvain. We live in the Farmhouse at Porthcurno Barns with our 2 sons Noah and Louis. We recently moved to Cornwall to grow our family and spend more time outdoors.
We love the wilderness of West Cornwall and that it's the perfect location for surfing, swimming, cycling and coastal walks.
We look forward to welcoming you to Porthcurno Barns and will be on hand for anything you need to ensure you have a relaxing stay.
