Discover the museum of global telecommunication that explores the amazing story of our connected world, and how 150 years ago, the first international telegraph cable was brought ashore at Porthcurno, connecting Britain to India and later other parts of the British Empire.
SW Coastal Path

We don't allow dogs.
In July and August, we have a minimum stay of 7 nights with check-in and check-out on Fridays only.
All our barns have wood burner, fridge freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, washing machine, dryer, iron, iron table, BBQ, outdoor seating area, tap and clothes line/airer.
There is a large selection of board games and books in each barn. Guests also have use of the large lawn in front of the barn with its football goal post and swing set. We provide deck chairs, football, volleyball, badminton rackets, beach tennis rackets, a net, buckets and spades and bodyboards.
We also provide the following essentials for your stay:
- bed sheets, bath towels only, soap and loo rolls. We have beach towels for hire if needed.
- Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner.
- tea, coffee, some Nespresso capsules, sugar, cooking oil, salt and pepper, kitchen towel, dishwasher tablets and cleaning products.
- a welcome basket that includes a freshly baked organic bread (subject to availability), local eggs, jam, milk and treats.
- washing powder, softener.
- one large bag of logs with kindlings and fire lighters. If you need more logs, we sell high quality logs at cost.
- highchair(s), travel cot(s) (with sheet(s) but no other bedding) and nappy bin for infants. Please let us know in advance so we can arrange.

Hello!
We are Harriet and Sylvain. We live in the Farmhouse at Porthcurno Barns with our 2 sons Noah and Louis. We recently moved to Cornwall to grow our family and spend more time outdoors.
We love the wilderness of West Cornwall and that it's the perfect location for surfing, swimming, cycling and coastal walks.
